Milura was born and raised in a small secluded enclave deep in the forests of the Jade Empire, far away from civilisation. Her race, the pandaren, had made sure to keep it that way, staying hidden and dealing only with their own problems while tending to the lands around them. She had a good youth, and like most of her kin, Milura was inquisitive and gentle. Quickly taking an interest in the dealings with spirits and the land, and more importantly, in cooking.
She quickly mastered the basics of shamanism and when she came of age, she decided that she wanted to see the world, learn more about it. While it wasn’t common for one of their kind to leave the enclave, her fellow pandaren were supportive and after a lavish party, she walked of into the forest and out into the world.
Wandering the jade empire for a while before taking a ship to take her to the other side of the spine of the world, she found herself in a crowded tavern in Andor, enjoying a fine meal and a nice conversation with a roguish charming gentleman named Pearce. They got to talking a lot and playing games (which he seemed to win most of the time) and when she heard he and his female companion were going to travel to the north for some festivities, she decided that she wanted to go with them and see these festivities too. After all, travelling with the promise of new exotic foods? What pandaren can resist that?
